The "God" Concept...

In a thread I answered about "God". I said man is to God like rain drops are to the oceans. This comparison illustrates though we come from "God" and are made of substances that come from "God' we are but an infitessimal fraction of that which man calls "God". Also the same "God" that is the "God" of us and all that we know is also the same "God" of the infinite things we do not know.

Therefore why do we attempt to put "God" in a box? Meaning we give "God" human features and characteristics such as gender and body parts. We act as though we are the only ones privy to "God". Sometimes our view of "God" is so narrow it's paper thin. So here is some food for thought.


Have you ever thought about what "everything" entails? So if "God" created everything, is a part of everything and is the origin of everything then would if suffice to say that from "God" came what we consider "evil" also? Why would "God" create evil? If "God" created evil how can "God" become upset at evil. If not where did evil come from? What if good and evil are poles of a spectrum and most of us fall somewhere in between? etc...etc....etc...

Also, If one depends on the formula for thinking and uses it CORRECTLY, then and only then can one not be a follower. That's where the problem lies. People can "know" the formula yet be conditioned in a way that they don't use it to think for themselves, all the while believing that they do.

Here are some things that prove that one needs more than just "knowing" the formula of thinking in order to be an independent thinker and non-follower:

1. The things that you consider to be facts must be indeed factual. People accept things as fact that indeed are not; also people dismiss things as non-fact that actually are fact. Incorporting any of this in the thought process makes your resulting conclusion WRONG.

2. One must be sure that they have gathered ALL of the RELEVANT facts pertaining to the person/idea/thing that they are applying thought to. If one is not patient enough to collective all relevant information, or if one is given information that is incomplete, then one can be missing critical information that affects the outcome of the thought process. This makes it all the more likely that the resulting conclusion will be WRONG.

3. One can be selective in terms of how and when the formula of thinking is applied. Most people are very astitute in applying thought to knowledge that they receive. Very few apply thought to the sources of knoweldge, whether the source be some holy book, a so called exalted person that they trust, etc. To be an independent thinker, one must develop the DISCIPLINE of applying correct thought to everyone and everything - including the actions, words, and motivations of those whom they trust or see as being more Divine and exalted than they are.

A healthy environment for collective work respects each persons Divinely given right to be an independent thinker for real. There are many movements that claim to teach people how to think for themselves, yet fall short because even if the correct formula for thinking is taught, folks are conditioned (via mind control) on how, when, and upon whom the formula should be used.

I trust we can ultimately reach an agreement on this issue. After reading through this entire conversation i must admit that you leave me hanging with your meanings sometimes. For example, your use of the word "independent". In truth, there is no such condition anywhere in nature as independence. However, the word is used as a mainstay in the context of an individualist culture to promote the notion that an individual is capable of some kind of accomplishment that cannot be done. Ironically, the more we speak this into existence, the more it becomes our "reality". Yet, what does it mean when we perceive un-reality as reality? It is merely a condition of insanity.
No, there is no such thing anywhere in nature, at any age,as "independence". Can i prove it? No...But you can! Simply try this: Hold your breath...Now hold it some more...a little longer...
Very soon, i'm sure that, even at your age, you'll discover that not only are you dependent, but you're dependent upon something that you can't even see. All things in nature share some kind of symbiotic relationship with all othr things. The same intelligent consciousness that created us also created the laws under which we must function.
This same principle also applies to the relationship between the one and the zero. The one is dependent upon the space occupied by the zero before it can be seen as "one". It might be standing alone expressing its individuality, but it is not independent, as is nothing else in existence.
Language is the tool that we use to speak things into existence. This being the case, i believe it will be wise of us to eventually return to the language that TheCreator uses; our original language. English, as probably most other languages, does as much to hamper communication as it does to enhance it.

the sun is dependent on the hydrogen that is burns. the hydrogen is stored at its core... this hydrogen will be depleted in about 5 billion years at which point the sun will burn out...

the sun is a star and is only brighter than the others because of its close proximity to earth...

light travels approximately 186,000 miles/second. it takes the light from the sun 8.5 minutes to reach earth... it takes the light from some stars thousands and millions and billions of years to reach the earth because of the great distances...

in fact, some stars may have burned out millions of years ago and we wouldn't know it because the light we see from them originated before their expirations...

besides, the sun or great star is dependent on countless of other divine or cosmic forces...
