Repatriation seems to bring about ideas of revolution and rebellion; however it is more than just a war chant. Many people seek to go home, but their reason for this progress varies. Some individual seek to contribute to the unification of Africa, others note their need to be near their ancestral roots and some find it just economically efficient in times of a faltering western economy. Whatever your reason for such a life changing transition, we as descendents of this sacred land must strive for unification in our efforts to insure the vitality of our existence and those to come. So why do you want to sojourn in Africa? And how can you contribute to the continue welfare of your family and your prospective community?

I agree with you. That is why I study individually. I have been studying various culture and religions since I was 14. No one coaxed me to do so-it just felt right and I have the mind to think for myself and take what I have discovered and apply what is valuable to me.

I refuse to feel like I have to run away from my own land when I am not even the foreigner-the 'others' are. Though I don't disagree that if some folks feel drawn to Africa they should go. But others shouldn't be made to feel guilty if we choose to stay here and defend our land. I also feel what you said about Native Indians because my moms grandmother was one and I feel like even though I am African as well, that I should stay and fight to keep what was taken from my people and the blood and tears that was shed here as well. N.A.'s are our ppl as well and I wish some of us would recognize that they went through as much as we did and they were exterminated on top of that. But never-the-less.

We need to understand that this is our land too and we shouldn't allow ourselves to be run out just because they dont want us here. They dont want us in Africa either, 'cause thats where all the wealth is. What happens when they come for the ones that remigrate? You have to protect and defend any land that is under your feet-especially if you are the indigenous being invaded by foreigners. I refuse to be pushed into a corner. Good ppl belong anywhere they choose to be. Ppl that like to destroy need to be reprimanded and controlled or else they will spread out and multiply.

But more power to the people who are going to the Motherland-cause it is still 'the Motherland'. I'll come and visit for sure. Once I deal with the fight for the right to travel laws that restrict us as indigenous ppl. All these tracking devices and ridiculous taxes they put on us to have the freedom to do what we have been doing since the beginning of time-ridiculous. They are trying to destroy Natural Law. I'll make sure it wont trickle into the rebuilt nations in Africa. And hopefully enough people here in the States are willing to contribute to regaining our rights where ever we stand, cause that's the only way to contain the abuses going on elsewhere. Thanks for your insight into the subject of Exodus. Many of our brothers and sisters are spiritually aligned and ready to take this journey, however the resources needed to uproot ourselves from the diaspora is few, far and in between. Have you any suggestions, our personal experiences and/or stories of individuals repatriating successfully and how was it done? Please enlighten the readers!!!

Reasons to go home?
Let me start with the toughest...
(slap me if you think I deserve it, but only with motivated words so I can reply and we all can grow)

x- Race.
The human gene pool needs its diversity to survive bio(warfare)logic 'complications'.
The diversity already present probably brought us till now, and through bio(warfare)logical heart aches. Where other area's suffered one after the other epidemic on biological level, we may ask our selves if that had to do with the numerous wars that mixed assumable sub-species.
I'm inspired by the vast diversity back home but I'm also inspired by 'a people' here in the Netherlands with their own language, of witch by the way some say English stems from, and even their own physical features. Friezen. From the province Friesland. They are tall and are related to 'cow farming'(?). I sometimes joke with a girlfriend of mine that is Fries, and tell her she stems from a Massai village cut off when the ice age started.
Catch my drift?

Our youngest brother, the one still scared of nature fighting it day after day, scared of his older brothers. Shutting them, and their findings before him, up with a flat earth, burned knowledge and 'knowledgables', calling them witches (or aliens for that matter).
We need to take responsibility. Go home and shut the door. If you can't handle Uranium, you don't get it. Simple. Everybody has to overstand we 'came' and found. By (self)creation or evolution makes no difference.
Who's to tell the fam other than the oldest brother?

Thanks to Nickesha for starting this wonderful discussion. I am glad to participate. I would say all of the reasons Nickesha mentions above fall along the lines of why I want to move to Africa.

I have always wanted to move to Africa, but what has quickened my steps to move has been the current economic decline of the u.s. and my daughter. I recently had a baby girl, and looking around I do not see enough of what she needs and what I would like to provide for her culturally, economically, spiritually in the u.s. I want to be able to spend more time with her- be responsible for educating her and preparing her as an African woman. That work is to be done on our ancestors soil.

I also want to participate in reversing the brain drain going on in Africa by providing my assistance in whatever areas I can.

Currently I am looking to move to Ghana, and any assistance, information, materials that people have on acquiring land, real estate, building/ buying homes, finding jobs, starting a business or non-profit, citizenship, or anything else concerning living in Ghana would be appreciated.

These are interesting questions I have to ask my self are there any other human beings left on the planet outside of selves would ask a such a question .

China has Chinese Americans who goes to China , German Americas go the Germany ,Mexico goes to Mexico it not a revolution or rebellion what is the point.
Subliminal subconscious behaviors surfacing within our consciousness.
Some of us have not gotten over the Tarzan movies while the world as moved toward a Global economy and we are left out of the game it we understand why Mother Africa is so important.
Some are struggling with confused messages without duality .
These people has land underneath their feet to point to .
I have a say We do not have a culture unless we own the land underneath our feet.
Or we don't own our culture till we do.
