I hope you are not saying we do not have an enemy to point our finger at. Cause Capitalism and Krakkkas is killing us without doubt.
Shu Ka-Ra,
Are you saying that one would be free from rasict attacts, police brutality etc simply because they seek or achieve soverignty ???
In my opinion, racsim is just a distraction. Everyone knows that it exsists. With that in mind, yes, things like police brutality and other acts have and always will happen. So why focus your energy at pointing the finger on racism? When has pointing fingers ever solved anything or shown results? When I opened up this discussion, my focus was on REVOLUTION not distractions.
BlaqKharma,
Racism is a reality. Most Black folk know it exists, there are some who pretend it doesn't , and most caucasians would like to think it doesn't.
I brought it up here to point to the absurdity of the statement :
"When you seek and achieve soverignty, you dont need a revolution"
Is racism not one of the reasons for change ?
Freedom ,liberty , justice, equality or even "soverignty" will not/ can not exist in a vacuum, and where we are today , change (revolution aint nothing but change) would be needed for them to exist . Unless the problems we face as Black People are changed, one can not have " soverignty" .
The finger is pointed at the problem beacause it is a major part of the equation in regards to our condition that relates to the need for change/revolution.
Not saying that racism is not an issue. However, as I stated before, in often times I feel that it is used as a distraction to get people emotional. Most people don't think straight when they are emotional. As a result a lot of people make irrational decisions.

Revolution starts with self first. Does it truely matter if someone does not like you because of who you are or better yet, your color? That's just taking you further away from what the things that need to happen.
Not saying to ignore racism at all but don't make that your primary focus. People are not going to always like you.
BlaqKharma,
Racsim is not my primary focus, it was only used as an example to dispell the falsehood that was presented. Capitalism uses racism as one of it's tools to hide itself from the masses.
"People are not going to always like you."
I noticed, and it aint racism lol
Depends on what you want soverignty from Shu..
The word Revolution goes beyond the confines of being explained in English.
Murdering the english language prepares one to have a revolutionary mentality
and making changes that make sense to an African brain.
Not pledging allegiance to the flag, rejecting bad foods, rejecting white deities & other
supreme beings that are not depicted as being Black, raising a generation that is ready
for the right moment to attack, defend, heal or kill. All of these principles create the conditioning
for revolution. Then, there is a organized yet seemingly unorganized body, movement, or
critical mass that stirs up the right energy and preparation to finally make a complete change that
benefits the majority of our people or atleast creates a society where justice & self-preservation
are essential aspects of an African-centered/Universally holistic state of co-existence for African people and indigenous people. The real African revolution must be collective and all Africa must be for the Africans, and the Europeans who are less than 10% of the population on the planet will
no longer be able to rule over other groups and make them subjects of white supremacy and capitalism. Oh yeah, and Malcolm was right, a revolution is bloody, a revolution overturns and destroys systems. Are we scared of that part of revolution?
Do you really disagree with Malcolm?
Or do you just want to avoid the fact that the "bloody"
statement is an aspect of what we have to possibly
deal with in order to reach our destination.

It may just be part of the obstacle course.
We can run by some of these obstacles like
Usain Bolt and we may have to tackle other obstacles
like a football player.

Peace.

Tehuti
Nat I have to agree with Shu Ka-Ra.. and Shu Ka-Ra I have to agree with Brother Tehuti and Nat... lol

We aren't in a position now or even in this generation where we should even be considering interaction with the enemy. Entertaining that is a joke of tremendous proportion and does seem like faux bravado. The only way something like that would even be possible is if there was a breakdown in the world order stretching resources thin.

However, we are in a position to educate the brains that may indeed be at that phase in the future. So our stretch of the "revolution" per se is to set up the institutions where those brains and hearts can learn how they are and what their mission may be. That is a tangilbe thing that we can have success at right now...

We tend to dichotomize things. Malcolm and the NOI did not visibly engage in any real physical self defense (not even to the extent the Panthers did) but it may be because they felt as I did that there was an educational and organizational phase that we needed first (psychological and spiritual self-defense). I think we need to think the same way.

Revolutions do have to be bloody and violent.. especially in regards to the enemy we face. But when that phase of the strategy comes into play, has not been determined as of yet.. and probably wont in our generation.
Lutalo,
As this dialog goes on, it starts to get confusing beacuse people are jumping in at different points.
Shu Ka-Ra is on some delusional ideas in regard to me that give a false assumption , so let's not chase his foolishness in regards to me
Tehuti,
When Malcolm spoke , he said we are scared to bleed, we bleed for white folks , but when it comes to our churches and children being killed we have no blood.
Now although we went full circle with this topic, most of have agreed except Shu Ka-Ra who continues to interject his special brand of buffoonery.
Everyone has agreed that there is not, nor has there been a revolution here for Black People. If there was, you know who will be the judas by there FEAR and vacilation in unclear thought.
