- I am a 23 year old brotha currrently holding a position as a desk supervisor for a youth transitional housing center-shelter. I am lovin' every damn minute of it..working with these young at-risk teens just shows me how much of an impact I can have on their life choices and skills. Aside from helping kids, I have spent most of my life drawing architecture..and design concepts- but anything that GOD has in store for me. I am and will always be a man of God- and I believe in counting your blessings! I am a good lookin young brotha, but also a genuine, down-to-earth, and REAL person! Syracuse University has 10 Full Ride Scholarships for African American Men and Women Interested in Studying Architecture
Mark Robbins, Dean of Syracuse University's School of Architecture is desperately seeking young men and women of color interested in pursuing a five year professional degree in Architecture. He says he's deeply committed to bringing diversity to his field and has scholarship money set aside to fully cover educational costs for 10 students. Hispanic enrollment in the school has increased substantially, but it's been harder to attract Black students. These scholarships will be awarded based on academic criteria and portfolio submission. Syracuse University's School of Architecture has a great reputation. This is a terrific opportunity!
