Sweet words are easy to say, Sweet things are easy 2 buy, But sweet people are difficult to find Life ends when U stop dreaming, Hope ends when U stop believing, Love ends when U stop caring, Friendship ends when U stop sharing. So share this with whom ever U consider a friend. To love without condition, To talk without intention, To give without reason, And to care without expectation is the heart of a truefriend... Forward this to all the people whom U consider as your true friend. Dont forget to send it back to ME ..... If U Care........ Life is short, Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you smile. Send to all the people you love or don't want to lose, even me.... If you get 3 back, you are a great friend...."""

Be joyful always, pray continually, and give thanks in all circumstances
for this is God's will through His beloved prophets and messengers... Trust in the Lord with all your
heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways,
acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path.

Hotep..."the people back home prefer anything from abroad to their own. Have you gone through any similar experience in Africa"...Yes I have. In Ghana, last week.
It is more than apparent our people have been hood-winked, bamboozled, runamuck , led astray, swindled, deceived, exploited, castrated, etc.
As only one of us, I felt a responsibility to relate the truth. I did so in Ho, Volta Region,Premiere 98.1, "live" for twenty minutes. My brief oratory dealt with this very topic. I used the legacy of Nkrumah to explain a more realistic view of Afrikan America, thus Pan-Africanism. I am told, I am the first Afrikan American to speak to the masses. Period. My response was that Africans in America are Psychological slaves, we are only now waking up...i.e. "Do not follow us...we will follow you". Additionally I explained this simple fact,"We are coming home...and we are bringing our Afrikan centered intellect with us!".
I intend to return in December. Purpose...wake up everybody. Means...media of mass communication.

I want to share some experience I had when I returned to Ghana for holidays some time ago. I am a person who uses natural things most of the time. So when I went to Ghana, I started using "alata samina" (black soap), "nku" (shea butter) and was always drinking beer ( dont condemn me yet....it was a local beer made from cayenne pepper, cloves, honey and other local herbs). To my surprise, some of my own friends started gossiping that I might be poor and probably life was hard for me abroad hence my being fond of everything natural. To them, as a been-to ( foreign based or resident and especially in the USA) I was to use and consume non-natural things which to them is cool.
This gave me the opportunity to initiate an education program to help emancipate my people from mental slavely.

I realized that the challenges are enormous and that we all need to help for history has done us disservice that the people back home prefer anything from abroad to their own. Have you gone through any similar experience in Africa, the Caribbean or South America or even here, and what did you do? Share your experience and tell us what hope you are giving the African youth both on the continent and in the Diaspora.
